American Legion Programs
The American Legion is involved in so many programs.  We will list a few that we actively or have supported in the past.  Unfortunately we are a small group of volunteers with limited funds available and we have to pick and choose what we can support depending on volunteers and costs.

We Do What We Can With What We Have!
Boys State has been a very important program that we support for as long as anyone can remember.  We are fortunate to have the support of many community sponsors.  All total we usually send 8 plus boys to boys State.   Participants set up fictitious cities and a state, electing officials to govern each. Boys' State is overseen by the Boys' State Committee, its policy-making body. Two boys each year from the Boy's State in Austin are selected as members of Boys' Nation, held in Washington, D.C.

Our Family Charity (Legion,Auxiliary, S.A.L. and Riders) is
